Musculature Anatomy

The Three Main Bodytypes

Body Types

Not everyone is born equal, and mostly people fall within 3 different body types.

Ectomorphs

This is typically what is known as the “Hard-Gainer”. Naturally skinny, the ectomorph
requires more calories as their  metabolic rate is much faster than others.
This can be accounted for simply by eating more.

Traits of an Ectomorph:
  • Small “delicate” frame and bone structure
  • Flat chest
  • Narrow shoulders
  • Long and thin muscles/limbs
  • Low fat storage
Famous Ectomorphs
Male
Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Frank Zane
Female
Kate Moss, Cameron Diaz, Whitney Houston

Mesomorphs

Mesomorphs generally have a great metabolism and put muscle on easily. These are the lucky ones. Mesomorphs need a diet very similar to an ectomorph. They are naturally strong which is the perfect platform for building muscle.

Traits of an Mesomorph:

  • Athletic
  • Well defined muscles
  • Rectangular shaped body
  • Broad/square shoulders
  • Medium/Large frame and bone structure
  • Excellent Posture
Famous  Mesomorphs

Male

Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Mark Wahlberg

Female
Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gloria Estefan

Endomorphs

Endomorphs generally have a slow  metabolic rate, and a high affinity to retaining
fat. When building a diet, you should lower the ratio of the fat, and generally
eat less overall calories in order to stay aesthetic

Traits of an Endomorph
  • Smooth, round body
  • Medium/large joints/bones
  • Short Limbs
  • Very high levels of body fat
  • Haveto work hard to lose weight
  • Pear-shaped phisique
Famous Endomorphs
Male
Danny DeVito, Robin Williams, Rusell Crowe
Female
Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Oprah Winfrey

Tips:

  1.  Try to squeeze and contract the muscle on each rep.
  2. Always slow down the movement on the negative phase of the rep its very important, because the blood-flow to the muscle is dramatically increased and also leads to more hypertrophy (development of new muscle).
  3. Don't stay more than 1-1:30 hours in the gym and rest about a minute before each set.
  4. You can do this wokout program for about 2-3 months and then you will have to change it, because the body gets used to it.
